Hey Brian, I don't think it is as much that they are stronger then you, because you have shown amazing strength...and empathy towards others.
I think that kids are just more resilient because they haven't lived enough to be jaded or to really experience life without pain and struggles.
We had a patient at work that was a toddler and she had some of her organs on the outside of her rib cage. She had to endure many surgeries, etc...This little ray of sunshine never stopped smiling and laughing. She didn't know life any other way. My heart broke when I read about her, but her clinicians said she was just a happy little girl.

LOL YOU SHOULD HAVE ASKED RUTH AND HER HUBBY TO COME ALONG. SHE COULD KEEP YOU LAUGHING 24/7. DOES SHE ACTUALLY TWEET BACK TO YOU. I CAN NEVER GET IT IN MY HEAD HOW IT WORKS. IT'S JUST HIT AND MISS.YOU TALK TO SO MANY AND I OFTEN WONDER IF THEY TWEET YOU. TIME FOR BED. GLAD TO SEE YOU BACK. FOR MYSELF, I'M NOT ANY BETTER OR ANY WORSE.I KEEP ALOT TO MYSELF.
