Check Up Time Again

CT's and TSA

I'm already getting nervous. In two weeks I will be back at MD Anderson Cancer Center for an annual check-up; CT Scans, blood work, X-rays! Yippee! Plus as an added bonus, I'm going to attempt to have eye surgery, AGAIN. Last year my left eye wasn't deemed bad enough for insurance to pay, so my surgery was canceled. This year we try again. I still can't see out of it. Everything is a blur with halos, stars, and muted colors.

I'm really wondering what the screening process is like at the San Francisco Airport. You hear in all the media it's very invasive. I guess for a lonely guy that's not a bad thing. Maybe I'll go through a few times just to make sure they didn't miss anything. It will be the closest thing to a date I've had in a long time! Who would have ever imagined that buying an airplane ticket could get you to second base?

Do you think if we are attacked again, we all might get lucky and TSA will impose a 3rd base rule?

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!

Peace
B

YOU BE IN MY DREAMS TONIGHT. CUTE SONG. LOVELY VIDEO. NOT. I GUESS I WON'T EVER FLY AGAIN. I'M TO OLD FOR THAT KIND OF TOUCHING. LOL
I WISH YOU BLESSING ON YOUR DOCTORS VISIT. I'M PUTTING OFF MY BLOOD TEST FOR A FEW DAYS. THEY NEVER FIND THE RIGHT SPOT TO STICK THE NEEDLE IN AND I END UP ALL BLACK AND BLUE. IT REALLY MAKES ME MAD.ARE YOU BACK IN CALIFORNIA?

Hey Brian!

You WILL pass all your tests with flying colors (and stars and halos!!) Sorry for the bad joke...couldn't resist! And I know you smiled...admit it!
Seriously, hoping all goes well and you can also have your eye surgery.

If I thought I could have a male agent, then I would seriously consider investing in an airline ticket! Just think...a quickie with no strings attached!! And then a vacation to boot!!

Did you have a nice Thanksgiving? Were you able to spend it with special people? Whoever you were with was lucky to have you there.

Keep us posted.

PS...TG...that cracked me up!!

You're too funny! You're never too old to be professionally groped!

Thanksgiving sucked...I had a chicken salad!

My mom had a lot of trouble when she had to have blood taken. They said she had "floating veins" A helpful tricks that helped her are...always ask for a butterfly baby needle (helps reduce bruising and can be less painful) and drink LOTS of water the day before the blood draw. Veins become smaller when the body is dehydrated.

ALSO, ask for a Phlebotomist instead of a regular nurse. Sometimes this means you have to have the blood draw at a lab, but they never messed my mom up like the nurses.

MAUREEN!

I like you're thinking. I believe people wouldn't complain at all if the right marketing spin put on the subject.

Feeling lonely? Depressed? Fly TSA and we'll get the party started! We'll not only touch your heart with our kindness...we'll touch every inch of you AND MORE!
